David was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He attended Kalamazoo College and graduated in 1981. He attended law school at University of San Francisco School of Law and graduated in 1984. David was a Law Clerk for the Michigan
Supreme Court, Justice James H. Brickley, in the years 1984 to 1986.
During this work, David worked on research of a variety of issues
before the Michigan Supreme Court. David moved to Berrien County in 1986 to
begin work at the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. David
worked in the Appellate Division of the Prosecutor’s Office from 1986 to
1990.
David’s philosophy of handling the
various cases he litigates is to take common sense straight forward
approach to receive a fair and just settlement for the client.
Only the most difficult cases need to be tried and in that event,
David believes in firmly and aggressively representing his clients.
